The Demolition installation grew organically from the re-fitting of part of the studio interior. After three days of demolition I had amassed more than 5 tons of building waste. This included multiple sheets of plaster board, ply wood, hardboard and many metres of timber plus numerous bags of fibre insulation. This sat in the corridor waiting to be re-used or stored and after sitting amongst them one night the light through the door lit the would be waste, bringing it alive and created the feel of a run down city scape.
This became my inspiration for the piece. After the first Private View the piece is being adjusted to fit into the ever expanding exhibition area and will be available to view again in 2019.
